Girls' and Boys' Day is an annual event in Germany that aims to promote gender equality and encourage young students to explore career paths in traditionally male or female-dominated fields. For instance, boys can also learn about careers in social work, education and nursing professions, while girls are given the opportunity to explore technical or skilled trades careers. Comet Yxlon is proud to have hosted the Girls' and Boys' Day, as it does every year. We welcomed 8 students from grades 5 to 7 to our headquarters in Hamburg.

The day was filled with excitement, they were given a guided tour of our warehouse and its management, our Application & Training Center, where they had an in-depth look at our entire range of X-ray systems and were given an insight into our project management and the management of the company’s IT infrastructure, which gave them a glimpse of the different career paths available in the technology industry.
